Kalloy SP-248 radiused bike seatpost, silver, 313g, 27.2mm, 330mm long. This is the original seat post that came stock/new with my 2009 Salsa La Cruz cyclocross bike. It has performed heroically under my ever-growing gravity since then and I have no reason to doubt that it will last longer than I do. I don't know the exact dimensions of the radiuses setback and seat clamp, but I'm guessing it's in the range of 14mm.
This is a stout seat post for just about any kind of bike that accepts a conventional 27.2 diameter. the 330mm length is good for a wide range of sizes--I have pretty short legs so mine was pretty deep in the seat tube of my steel bike...needless to say the ride feel is nothing if not sturdy. I changed it out with a black post to match some new wheels I'd purchased, otherwise I probably would've just kept it on that bike forever.
Use it to complete a parts bike build, to test set back and post length dimensions before committing to something more expensive, or to get that period-perfect late 2000's classic steel Salsa build you've become nostalgic for.
