Colnago Spiral Conic SLX gorgeous road bike Eroica frame Time Carbon fork Thinning the herd... Gorgeous 1989 Colnago Spiral Conic SLX, measuring: seat tube center to top of top tube - 53.5cm (standard Colnago measure) seat tube center to center seat tube 52.5 top tube center to center 53 I bought this Spiral Conic many years ago. It was my first Colnago, to be followed by many more! Ted Wojcik repainted it and added the Colnago decals. Peter Mooney installed the Time carbon fork. The original paint was a pink and pearl waffle, an uncommon colorway for Colnagos. While it was in excellent shape at the time, I chose to change the color to blue. This frame is in amazingly good condition for its age. The paint is at least 25 years old, maybe older; yet it's nearly flawless, and the chrome is in excellent condition. I treated it with Frame Saver many years ago. It was superceded by a C40, and then a C50, so it hasn't seen the road in a long time... Local pickup in Metrowest Boston, or on Cape Cod!
