1981 Viner Record Racing 61cm Campagnolo Athena Record Columbus SL

VINER RECORD RACING - 1980/1981 - 61cm  (I'd recommend riders over 6'2) Hate to let this one go, but times are tough!  Here's a chance to own a lovely and quite rare Italian bike.  I purchased this as a frameset with the decals already removed :( perhaps 15 years ago.  Over time, I've hunted down the parts equipped.  The total build has one ride of roughly 20 miles on it.  If you look at it up close you can see all outlines of where the Viner decals where.  You can source quality reproductions, but I preferred it this way.   I'm not a campagnolo expert, but I believe the parts are a mix of Athena, Record and Victory as well as new old stock super record  housing.  The derailleur, brakes and crankset were sold to me as Athena parts maybe 10 years ago.  I'll do my best to list everything on the bike.  I'm not certain the maker of the headset nor the bottom bracket.   Don't miss your chance to grab this bike.  Take a look around and you'll see that 99% of the Viner left from this era are Special Professionals. (star cutouts)   The Record Racing were frameset only and are quite scarce!
